We’re excited to provide you with this service which we feel helps streamline your moving process and simplifies some of the more tedious tasks of moving, and I think you’ll love it!

Best of all, it’s completely FREE for The Real Estate Jedi™ clients!

You should have received a text message from our system by now, but if for some reason you didn’t receive it, here is the link to request the service 👉 http://www.360homeconnect.com/_360hc_backup_012618/therealestatejedi !

Get Mailbox/HOA keys (if applicable)

If you purchased a home within an HOA with common areas or community mailboxes, there is a chance that you might not have received a copy of any common area keys/fobs from the seller with your other keys.

Contact your HOA and follow their instructions for obtaining the applicable keys.

Note: In many cases, you may need to contact your local US Post Office to obtain a new mailbox key, if not provided by the seller (such as in a bank-owned sale).

Safety Tips

1. We recommend that you consider replacing the exterior locks (it’s not impossible that there are other people with a copy of your keys) and resetting the garage remote code and any other existent door/lock/remote code.

2. For Sale signs may attract the wrong type of attention, regardless of the neighborhood, especially if a property was vacant for a while. If you will not be moving into the house right the way, we recommend that you consider installing an alarm system and/or an outdoor camera as soon as you close the sale.

3. Installing an outdoor camera is an easy way to keep an eye on your home when you are not around. There are many wireless options that are very easy to install, let us know if you would like more information on this topic.

TIP: Packing time is a great time to get a list of your belongings ready, you may need it in the future for insurance purpose.
